Daytona Bike Week Activities

Daytona Bike Week 2012

Victory Motorcycles recently released their event schedule for Daytona Bike Week and it includes a full week of complimentary demo rides at the Daytona International Speedway, March 10-17. The new Victory Judge will be available along with the complete 2012 lineup. There will be a camera crew taking pictures of all the demo rides so you can download them and have a cool souvenir of your experience.

Here’s the event schedule:

March 10-17, 9 a.m.-5 p.m daily:

• Victory demo rides at Daytona International Speedway.

March 13, 9:30 p.m.

• Victory bike night with live music by Big Engine at Dirty Harry’s Bar.

March 14, Registration starts at 2 p.m., Judging at 3 p.m.

• Third annual Victory Custom Bike Show at Volusia Motorsports.

March 15, starting at 7 p.m.

• Biker Fusion VIP / charity event at the Dog House on Main Street in Daytona.

March 16, 8-10 a.m.

• Autograph session with “The Gunny” at the Victory Demo Ride site, Daytona International Speedway.

March 16, Meet between 8-10 a.m.; Kickstands up at 10 a.m.

• Victory Owners Pre-Party & Ride with Zach Ness at Volusia Motorsports. Ride ends at Hailfax.

March 16, Noon-2 p.m.

• Victory Owners Luncheon at the Blue Grotto, Hailfax Harbor Marina.

Daytona Bike Week 2012

Alright bikers, it’s that time of year again. In about one month, possibly the largest bike event will be taking place in Daytona Beach, Florida. If you have never attended, it contends with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as one of the biggest motorcycle events in the country. Over 500,000 bikers are expected for the week long event. There will be races, concerts, parties and street festivals with plenty of food. The event will take place March 9, 2012 through March 18, 2012. What’s better than Friday? A Friday where you find out about a great bike giveaway. Fort Myers Bike Night

Yesss! The weekend is finally here. It’s been an extremely busy one here at Extrememoto and we are ready to get out there and start riding. As you know, we’re always on the lookout cool biker events. Today, we present the Fort Myers Bike Night.

There will be good food, live bands, tons of vendors and most importantly (and our favorite) bikes! Lots of them. Check out the flyer below for more information. Hope to see you out there!

Freedom Fridays: Weekly Wrap-Up

This was a big week for Extrememoto. We figure with so much news and information to provide our fans with, it was only right to join the social media ranks and properly engage our friends. The positive feedback has been nothing short of overwhelming and we want to give a shout out to everyone who has participated and made us feel at home. Thank you!

With the weekend finally here we’re wondering what other motorheads are up to. Let us know what’s happening.

We’d also want to share a highly worthwhile suggestion of our own to fellow biking-enthusiasts, Easter-lovin’ peeps and/or all-around do-gooders. This weekend is the 8th Annual Easter Bunny Toy Run in Ft. Myers, Florida. The event, hosted by Harley-Davidson Ft. Myers & SWFL HOG, will benefit the Children’s Hospital at HealthPark. Donations of toys, games and arts & crafts supplies will be collected; however, event coordinators have asked that you do not bring stuffed animals.  Admission is $5 and registration begins at 9 a.m. and will run until 10:45 a.m. The event is located 2160 Colonial BLVD Ft. Myers, Florida 33907. There will be an escorted route and a free post-run meal at HDFM, along with tons of entertainment and giveaways.
