What’s better than Friday? A Friday where you find out about a great bike giveaway. Bennetts Insurance along with BMW, Yamaha Motors and Piaggio Motor Vehicles are giving away three bikes which suit every kind of rider. A BMW S1000RR, Yamaha XJ6 and a Piaggio NRG50. They’ve covered the entire biker spectrum.

Breast Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Ride

Do you reside in the West Coast? Being that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we thought it would be a great idea to let you know about one of the largest breast cancer motorcycle rides in the country. On October 22, 2011, the annual RIDE4LOVE will take place. Over 2000 riders are expected this year to take part in the 50 mile ride.

RIDE4LOVE will begin at the Handlery Hotel & Resort, located at 950 Hotel Circle N., San Diego, CA, 92108. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The first 500 participants will receive a free Breast Cancer Awareness Flag Ride Patch.  There will be a 50/50 drawing, entertainment, food, beverage, live auction and live music. Show your support and join along for the ride.

Best Western is celebrating its 65th anniversary by holding a new contest for motorcyclists. Riders must take photos of their motorcycles in front of any of the 2,000 North American locations and submit them to the Best Western Facebook page.

Each week until July 15, three entrants will be randomly selected to receive 5,000 in Best Western reward points. These points can be used to redeem air miles, hotel stays, gifts cards and more. The first rider to submit a photo in front of a Best Western, Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier sign will win a $650 travel card good to any worldwide Best Western location. The grand prize winner will receive 65,000 reward points.

Run for the Wall (and America’s Vets), May 18-27

Riding is an event, in and of itself, but when there’s an opportunity to get out for a cause, well, that’s like an epic mishmash of excellence. From Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 27, Run for the Wall will celebrate all of our nation’s veterans and their sacrifices to this great country.The symbolic week-long event showcases the mentality of “no one left behind” and highlights the effects of wartime actions. Get your fellow motorheads together and ride for a reason.
